Consisted of three parts. The first separated by a staircase from the second was the main parts of the building. The third part of the gelatinisation building was a space activated when one of the two main parts failed. The building of heavy construction had a blast wall to protect it from complete destruction during the explosion. The visible remnants of the window joinery date from 1943, when the NGL zone was commissioned.
