The main headquarters of the Marshal's Office of the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship is located in a building at Plac Teatralny 2 in Toruń, from which basic architectural and organizational barriers for people with disabilities have been removed and adapted for servicing people with disabilities in the following scope:

Access to the building is provided by external stairs and a ramp. The main entrance is located on the ground floor, without obstacles such as thresholds, with automatic doors, double-wing doors opened by a photocell. The building is adapted to serve people with disabilities on each level through a system of three elevators, with all employees of the Office able to assist people with disabilities, and in case of such need, specially trained individuals. Internal corridors of the buildings have a width of at least 1.20 m. Information on handling matters in the Office is provided at the Information and Submission Point located on the ground floor in the main hall of the building, under telephone number +48 56 62-18-600 or via email   punkt.informacyjny@kujawsko-pomorskie.pl. Toilets adapted to the needs of people with disabilities are located on the ground floor in the right corridor from the Information and Submission Point, as well as on the first and second floors, on the same vertical. 2 parking spaces with spots reserved for cars used by people with disabilities are located in the internal parking lot of the Office and are available after passing the barriers from Aleja Solidarności. An alarm fire system with light signaling of danger has been installed in part of the building. The Information Point of European Funds located on the ground floor in the right corridor after entering the building is equipped with an induction loop. Elevators installed in the building are equipped with sound signaling informing about closing and opening doors, a control panel with markings for blind people, voice information indicating the floor at which the elevator stopped, and a display showing the floor at which the elevator is located, handrails on both sides of the cabin. In part of the building, internal stairs are equipped with handrails on both sides, extended at the beginning and end of the stair run by 30 cm, terminated to ensure safe use. Steps of internal stairs in part of the building are marked with contrasting color (start and end of the run highlighted with a contrasting strip). People with assisting and guide dogs can enter the building and all its premises (excluding technical rooms). For our clients, we provide free assistance with sign language interpreter or guide-interpreter during matters at the Office.
