The founder of the brewery and the creator of the Bojańczyk "fortune" was Kazimierz Bojańczyk, the first member of this family to become an entrepreneur in the modern sense of the word. He derived profits from, among other things, the production and trade of alcohol, usury, real estate leasing, and municipal taxes. His numerous sources of income and versatile business activities allowed him to purchase numerous properties, accumulate the funds to build the brewery, and support his large family. He was married twice. His first wife was Marianna Opoczyńska, his second, Katarzyna Gołębiewska. Between the two marriages, he had a total of twenty children.
In 1844, Kazimierz notarized the entire property on Łęgska Street to Rafał, his then-minor son from his first marriage to Marianna née Opoczyńska.
