The pieces on display in the House of Tradition include a handicrafts exhibition, artefacts associated with folk traditions, and musical instruments. Among those, ritual instruments deserve particular attention. Also presented are the trophies that Kujawy Song and Dance Ensemble has received for its artistic, educational, and charitable efforts, a collection of keepsakes and gifts from the Enseble’s multiple tours around the world, and publications that depict its history: journals, posters, pamphlets, programmes, photos, newspaper clippings and archive films. Visitors can also have their picture taken using a hand-painted stand-in, which will make them look like a Kuyavian couple.
The House of Tradition hosts workshops for organised groups. Their offer includes wycinanki - the Kuyavian paper cutting craft, painting traditional faience patterns, Kuyavian ditties and dances, wicker weaving and pottery, to name but a few. This is also where the folk band of Kujawy Song and Dance Ensemble holds its routine rehearsals.
