What used to be the ice house of the old brewery now houses a chamber room, a photo gallery – the Shutter, and teaching rooms.
The Chamber Room offers a unique atmosphere: the audience can accommodate 80 people and the proximity of the stage reduces the distance between the spectators and the artists. It is used to host such events as chamber concerts, discussion panels, music events for children, and film shows.
The Shutter Photo Gallery offers 110 m 2 of profoundly climatic exhibition space in the basement of Browar B. We use it mostly to present photo exhibitions with various topics. We invite photography artists and owners of interesting photo collections. It is at the Shutter that any photography enthusiast can present his or her works as our FotoObiektywni group of photographers hold regular exhibitions there. Collective exhibitions of nature photography generally draw a lot of interest and attention. Some photographers who have had their works displayed here include Adam Wajrak, Elżbieta Cybulska and Thomas Herbrich. In February 2023 a special exhibition by a Ukrainian artist, Irina Lopatina-Kamińska, was held at the Gallery. It was entitled “I Want to Return Home” and presented the daily lives of Ukrainian refugees in Włocławek and in Poland.
