Sacred art In Post – mediaeval Toruń is located in the former chancellery hall, also known as the Hall under the Plafond because of the illusionist paintings on the ceiling. On display are liturgical vessels and equipment, paintings, woodcarvings and stone sculptures from Toruń's Protestant or Catholic churches and of unknown provenance. They are evidence of the difficult history of the city and its churches, where Protestants and Catholics functioned side by side for centuries.
