In the space that houses the River exhibition, visitors will also find exhibits from the first exhibition created by the institution, the Water exhibition. This is a special exhibition because, prior to the opening of the Centre, it was the so-called 'ambassador' of our Centre in the region, visiting dozens of schools and events with accompanying thematic workshops. This exhibition introduced our visitors to the idea of interactive 'Centre Science'.

The exhibition consists of seven freestanding displays that demonstrate a variety of physical phenomena. The Viscosity and Density and Water Fibre stations are located next to the entrance to the exhibition on the left-hand side. The first allows visitors to observe the flow of a viscous fluid around obstacles placed inside an illuminated panel. The second shows the phenomenon of total internal reflection of blue, red and green light in the flow of water.

Beyond the source of the river, in the right-hand corner of the exhibition hall, visitors will find the other stations of the exhibition. The Large Glass Prism allows visitors to observe the phenomena of reflection and refraction of light as it crosses the boundary between media, while the Descartes Diver demonstrates the conditions of floating bodies. The Rotating Sphere, Rotating Cylinder and Water Vortex stations show the behavior of colored liquids in rotating vessels of different shapes under the influence of forces acting on them.
