Interior of the Bruno Sommerfeld piano factory on Promenada Street (now Jagiellońska Street)

The photograph shows the interior of Bruno Sommerfeld's factory, located at 4 Promenada Street (now 92 Jagiellońska Street). The entire room is cluttered with pianos at various stages of production. To the right, a tuner stands by one of the instruments, and a little further back, the workshop staff. The factory had its showroom and salesroom at 2 Śniadeckich Street, and in 1938 its representative offices were located in five cities: Warsaw, Poznań, Katowice, Łódź and Gdańsk.
