European Rowing Championships medal in Bydgoszcz

Commemorative medal issued on the occasion of the European Rowing Championships, held in Bydgoszcz in August 1929. Thirty-five crews belonging to 11 countries (152 competitors) competed in this championship. Poland took third place behind Italy and the Netherlands. This medal, made by the Medaglia medallion factory in Milan, was presented to the winning crews, as well as to members of the organizing committee, by the president of the International Rowing Federation F.I.S.A. Rico Fioroni of Switzerland.
