In this part of the building, the nitric acid obtained in the denitration columns was concentrated. At the top of the cascade, the least concentrated nitric acid was contained in a tank, which was transported by gravity to the next lower containers by means of a coil. Once the entire process was complete, the nitric acid could be transported by pipelines to the next building, the recovered acid storage facility.
