Extremely interesting in this room are the paintings of members of the Brotherhood of St. Luke - Bolesław Cybis and Czesław Wdowiszewski, as well as Zofia Stryjeńska's Self-Portrait. However, it is the paintings of the 'Szczepu Szukalszczyków herbu Rogate Serce', established on the initiative of Stanisław Szukalski and active between 1929 and 1939, that usually arouse interest. Marian Konarski and Norbert Strassberg, among others, belonged to the strain, and their works are among the exceptional ones in museum collections. Further examples of Polish painting and sculpture created after 1945 will be on view later, on the second floor of the Town Hall. We now invite you to the Royal Hall.
