You are close to the portal and the door to the former Hall of Judgement, dating from around 1738, which presents the Old Testament scene of the Judgement of Solomon in marquetry. This is where the tour of the third room of the painting gallery begins. It is still in the style of the 19th century, but features portrait paintings, landscapes and genre scenes which present, among other things, the difficult situation of the Polish countryside. The exhibition opens with Henryk Rodakowski's Portrait of his Wife of extraordinary beauty, followed by Piotr Michałowski's Study of a Married Couple and Józef Simmler's portraits of the Friedlein couple.
