Welcome back to the Burgher Hall, which was also known as the Grand Hall, the Tournament Hall and the Ball Hall - in the 18th century an emporium for the orchestra was set up at the north end of the Hall. On weekdays it served the clothiers. It was used for the most important municipal ceremonies, elections of the authorities, kings were received, oaths were sworn to them, and the sejmiks and assemblies of the Prussian states took place here. Nowadays it is still used for recitals, concerts, galas, balls and other festivities.
