Welcome to the Old Town Hall in Toruń, the headquarters of the local District Museum. This building, unique in Europe, was built according to a design from 1393 and measures 43.7 x 52.4 metres. It was rebuilt many times in later years. Over the centuries, the Town Hall has combined administrative, official and commercial functions and has been the venue for many historical events. Its courtyard is one of the largest and best-formed medieval courtyards in European bourgeois architecture. And now, without further ado, we invite you to take a tour of our museum, starting with the Courtroom. The tour, depending on your preference, should take between 90 and 120 minutes. You can leave your outerwear in the downstairs cloakroom, and there are also toilets, a lift and other facilities in the building. If you have any questions, our staff will be happy to help. We wish you a pleasant visit!
