The room in the rear part of the first-floor houses one of the most important parts of the collection of the Far East Art exhibition - Chinese and Japanese ceramics from the 7th to the late 19th centuries. In this room there is a Gothic painting on the wall depicting a fantastic castle. It is also worth seeing the paintings on the ceiling beams. It should be noted that among the relatively numerous ceiling polychromies preserved in Toruń tenement houses, the group belonging to the Star House is the largest and one of the most interesting.
