Exhibits

While entering the room on the right in the display case we will see elements of horse equipment. In its upper part hung spurs with straps pinned to shoes. Right next to it there are munarts with chains, inserted into the horse's mouth and used to steer the horse's head. Next, we can see a bit, whips for hunting fox dogs and stirrups supporting getting on a horse, horseshoes, hoof, a hoof cleaning tool and a key for twisting and screwing hooks into the horseshoe. On the wooden platform there are five saddles: model 1925, model 1936
(3 pieces) and a sports saddle. They are accompanied by stable accessories: a ball of hay, a canvas bucket and a feeder.
A bridle is hung from the saddles, i.e. a harness made of a strap put on the horse's head. Right next to it, two mannequins with replicas of private cavalry uniforms in 1939 hiking combat equipment were presented. Everyone practiced horse sport in Cavalry Training Center (CWK). The most popular were hunting runs. Cadets and staff took part in school hunts with dogs. October 15 – the day of promotion at the Cavalry Cadet School was also the day of the beginning of the hunting season. The display case contains exhibits on horse sport and other competitions, including diplomas and ID cards of various types of army competitions, as well as commemorative prizes and winning equestrian competitions. In addition, also three prize cups. Riders trained in Grudziądz won 10 Olympic medals, 24 Nations Cups and 120 first, second and third places in equestrian competitions. Between the ground floor and the first floor, cavalry-themed paintings are displayed along the stairs.
